Welcome, Tía - Welcome Baskets For Out Of Town Guests

As an event coordinator, I frequently help clients put together small ways to make their local and out of town wedding guests feel special.  Since my specialty is green weddings, my focus has always been on using earth-friendly and fair-trade products in these baskets.  Over time, the idea to offer couples a pre-made welcome basket developed, and the result is Welcome, Tia.
 
Welcome Tia boxes are intended to be left at the hotel or guest room that your wedding guests will occupy.  Boxes include: a city map, four cookies, a bag of fair-trade coffee, a wooden pen, a notebook, a bar of natural soap and a washcloth.  We will also ship one card per box to you, so that you can write a personal note to your guests.

Boxes ship closed, wrapped in twine and embellished with a paper flower.  While we realize the popularity of gift baskets, our boxes are designed to eliminate plastic cellophane typically used with baskets, and to be thought of more like a treasure box that guests open instead of seeing the items from the outside.  If you would like to view the boxes and items before purchasing, and live in Winnipeg, we would be more than happy to meet with you.
